As an Artist/Craftsman, my goal is to create exceptional pieces of furniture, both traditional and one of a kind.
While designing the holly inlayed solid cherry three legged side table (U.S. Patent # D595071) that you see at the left, I had a quote from Soetsu Yanagi in mind.
"A beautiful artifact may be defined as one that reposes peacefully where it aspires to be."
I hope that was accomplished with this piece. Subtle, graceful, understated beauty that is a pleasure to rest ones eyes on.
